The Happy Hour Hookup Summary

Ruby Daniels had her life turned upside down when a surprise meeting at work informed her that she would be forced to move teams and work under a team leader that she absolutely despised, Aiden.

Being forced to work under Aiden stirred up mixed feelings from when Ruby and Aiden used to be on friendlier terms and Ruby makes a foolhardy decision one Friday night at after work drinks.

Now forced to face her bad decision and her mixed feelings, Ruby must decide if taking a chance and risking it all on someone she knows could be the ruin of her career is worth it.

The Happy Hour Hookup Review

The book was an enjoyable read for me. Finished it within the hour of me starting it. I didn’t appreciate how Ruby judged Aiden without giving him a chance to clear his name but I am glad this drama was settled quite fast so the readers can just enjoy the cute fluffy romance.

Love Bytes and Gossip Summary

Hannah Upton’s life has been flipped upside down following a devastating breakup. Despite her heartache, she’s determined to focus on herself – that is until she meets Jeremy, the new I.T. guy.

Suddenly, Hannah is being forced out of her comfort zone and instead of dealing with her feelings, she dives into the latest workplace scandal. She is known as the Gossip Queen of BHI, after all, and she won’t rest until she solves this mystery.

But as she digs deeper, she begins to realize that the stakes are higher than she ever imagined – and she must face her feelings if she hopes to succeed.

Love Bytes and Gossip Review

I enjoyed the plot for this book more than The Happy Hour Hookup mainly due to me seeing similarities in personality between myself and Hannah. I liked how Hannah wanted to get some time to herself before she wanted anything to do with Jeremy even though she knew she already had feelings.

I felt that that’s a very mature adult thing to do. Really get anything to do with your ex out of your system before you start anything new.

My only qualm with this book is WHO IS THE BATHROOM BANDIT?

I NEED CONCRETE ANSWERS!
